Teams
All-star cheer teams compete in divisions divided by both skill and age levels. Thunder Elite builds its teams based on the guidelines of the United States All-Star Federation (USASF). For more information about the various divisions, as well as age and ability limitations of each of the divisions, please visit the USASF website. Levels for each team will be decided by the coaching staff as the year progresses. Teams may switch divisions from competition to competition depending on the rules set by each competition company. * - Any of our teams may be Co-ed. Exactly which teams, will be decided by the age of the male and the discretion of the coaching staff.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THUNDER ELITE…
We have heard so many rumors about our gym and program, and think it’s time to make sure that you are able to make a truly informed decision before choosing which gym is right for you this season! Here’s the real deal on the most common myths and misconceptions regarding Thunder Elite…
Myth: YOU HAVE TO TUMBLE TO BE PLACED ON A THUNDER ELITE TEAM.
Fact: ANYONE can do a Thunder team! We welcome kids of all levels of experience, and believe that our coaches and program will make you the best cheerleader you can be. Each season we have kids of all ages and all levels and we would be proud to have YOU join our Thunder family of teams!
Myth: IT COSTS $6,000 A YEAR TO DO A THUNDER TEAM, AND/OR I CAN’T AFFORD THUNDER.
Fact: Total cost for a level 2 cheerleader in our gym was less than $3500 last season. Total cost for a level 3,4,5 cheerleader in our gym last season was less than $4400 (due to additional travel to Dallas, TX). Here’s the math...
* Tuition - $1560.00
* Uniform/Gear/Choreography/Music - $860.00
* Nationals Trip - $1000.00 for level 1 and 2 kids, $1975.00 for levels 3, 4, and 5
TOTAL: $3420.00 - $4395.00

Myth: THUNDER ELITE DOESN’T OFFER ALL LEVELS OF COMPETITIVE CHEERLEADING.
Fact: Although we did not compete a level 5 team last season, we have a number of level 5 athletes in our gym, and we build and work level 5 skills on a regular basis. This year, we are excited to say that we WILL be offering a level 5 team, and that we even have some scholarships available for our most talented athletes! We are proud to be the most well-rounded program with kids of all levels and a number of different types of programs to choose from.
